Software Engineer 2 (Java/MapReduce/Cloud/GhostMachine/QTA)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. On-site role requiring U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Develop software for programs and contracts supporting government missions.
• Build and maintain Java-based software solutions.
• Work with MapReduce and cloud technologies.
• Apply GhostMachine and QTA in the development environment.
• Deliver practical solutions within projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in place of the degree.
• Strong Java experience.
• Experience with MapReduce, cloud technologies, GhostMachine, and QTA.
