Senior SQA Engineer – Data & AI Platforms (AI)

What you will do

• Design and implement automated testing for instrument software, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and AI-enabled applications.
• Validate AI/ML outputs, analytics dashboards, predictions, query-based insights, and AI-ready datasets.
• Build automated validation for ETL/ELT pipelines, data completeness, schema consistency, transformation correctness, and structured data.
• Design end-to-end test strategies spanning instruments, CSV/JSON exports, cloud analytics, ELN, and LIMS systems.
• Integrate test automation and distributed test orchestration into cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain test domain systems and contribute to test architecture, traceability, verification plans, and software requirements reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 6 years of test automation experience or relevant experience and training.
• Required programming experience with Python; familiarity with SQL, APIs, React, Flask, and shell scripting.
• Experience with test automation, UI/API testing, data validation, schema testing, CI/CD, and verification plans.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and data formats including JSON, CSV, and Parquet.
• Must have US employment authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with TestComplete, Ranorex, Squish, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or modern cloud pipeline tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing, prompt-based validation, and testing AI/ML outputs.
• Experience with ELN platforms such as Benchling or LabArchives, LIMS systems, and scientific instrumentation software.
