Software Quality Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end testing activities for key project features as an individual contributor.
• Perform automated and manual testing for software and hardware-integrated products.
• Design UI and API test suites, expand automated coverage, and publish results, recommendations, and best practices.
• Lead test planning and strategy execution while collaborating with engineering, algorithms, systems, hardware, marketing, applications, and manufacturing teams.
• Use intelligent algorithms, including LLMs, business logic, Power BI, dashboards, and reporting tools to identify and communicate software failure root causes.
• Participate in deployment and customer-site troubleshooting, including travel to customer fabrication facilities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on software testing experience with system-level software and hardware-integrated semiconductor products, or a master’s degree with no related experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of C++, C#, Java, Python, or R.
• Strong skills in SQL, NoSQL databases, and data preprocessing.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, machine learning models, and statistical methods.
• Ability to understand system-level requirements and translate them into effective software design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
