Technician - Global Parts Solutions (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at Fab 8 in Malta, New York, USA. Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility across all shifts; up to 10% travel may be required.

Expected salary: $43,100–$70,600 per year.

What you will do

• Perform bench repair of PCBs, controllers, cables, robots, power supplies, and automated material-handler components.
• Repair and refurbish computer and controller systems for the Fab 8 Electronic Repair Shop.
• Generate and execute standard work practices and develop electronic repair pipelines.
• Build job breakdown sheets and training plans for electronic repair team members.
• Work with manufacturing modules to identify high-leverage productivity opportunities.
• Support critical semiconductor-tool-down repairs with high quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3–4 years of experience repairing electronic PCBs, controllers, robots, power supplies, or similar equipment.
• Fluent English proficiency in written and verbal communication is required.
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a tightly coupled team.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and wear all required protective clothing and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform bending and twisting.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent military training.
• Direct experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience working effectively within a global team.
