Service Engineer (Mechanical Seals)

Location: Shannon, County Clare, Ireland; onsite service center and customer sites

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect, repair, install, and commission mechanical seals.
• Service equipment at the Shannon facility and provide field support, training, and technical assistance at customer sites.
• Manage the open orderbook, coordinate spare-parts availability, and support customer delivery commitments.
• Document failure analyses and field-service activities in specialized software and prepare client reports.
• Maintain, calibrate, and test service tools and diagnostic equipment in cooperation with facility teams and contractors.
• Communicate technical issues and customer requirements to clients, suppliers, management, and Sales & Service teams while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Extensive technical experience with mechanical seals and rotating equipment such as centrifugal pumps and mixers.
• Experience in pharma, refining, petrochemical, or power-generation markets.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

• Education or qualification in mechanical engineering.
