Equine Operations Technician (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role in Bellevue, Washington, United States

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year, adjusted as applicable for geographic differentials

What you will do

• Communicate with policyholders, answer policy, claims, and billing questions, and resolve customer issues.
• Coordinate with claims, underwriting, billing, agents, and external vendors.
• Perform claims, billing, and underwriting operations, including new claim setup, payment issuance, policy creation, account preparation, and data entry.
• Maintain accurate and timely file statuses throughout the underwriting and claims lifecycle.
• Support data reporting using Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, and other available tools.
• Build product knowledge, pursue professional development, and work toward an adjuster or agent license.

Requirements

• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.
• Visa or work authorization sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and databases.
• Strong organization, communication, time-management, project-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Prior insurance or billing experience.
• Equine industry experience or equine knowledge.
