Senior Project Engineer (Commercial Drywall)

Location: Dallas, United States; onsite construction job-site work required

What you will do

• Support commercial drywall project management through procurement, material tracking, change order pricing, quantity take-offs, reporting, and closeout.
• Coordinate and maintain construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Assist with construction schedule updates, utility line locate coordination, and trade sequencing.
• Prepare monthly reports, Zero Accident and Quality Assurance plans, and documentation for Green Building or LEED certification.
• Conduct daily field walks to address safety, quality control, constructability issues, and contract document discrepancies.
• Train and mentor junior Project Engineers and Interns while building relationships with tradespeople, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Lean processes and self-performed labor productivity.
• Thorough understanding of project documents, local building codes, plans, and specifications.
• Ability to work on an active construction site, including outdoor conditions, uneven surfaces, ladders, stairs, standing, and moving equipment up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, or comparable construction technologies.
• Interest in integrated project delivery, process improvement, and construction technology.
