Drywall Estimator (Self-Perform)

What you will do

• Plan and manage drywall self-perform estimating activities for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to define framing, hanging, taping, finishing, insulation, and acoustical ceiling scopes.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, labor productivity analyses, material pricing, labor rates, crew compositions, and equipment cost estimates.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier quotations, bid documents, drawings, and quote letters through bid submission.
• Collaborate with project managers and field superintendents on takeoffs, labor budgets, constructability, and bid-day accuracy.
• Support awarded projects with clarifications, budget breakdowns, scope handoffs, post-bid buyouts, and material delivery analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with OST (On Screen Takeoff), QuickBid, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to read and understand construction specifications and drawings.
• Accurate judgment and calculation skills, with working knowledge of construction costs and principles.
• Ability to collaborate with project and field teams and support collective quality goals.
