What you will do
- Support the provision of first-line legal advice, guidance and training to internal businesses and functions.
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Assist with commercial property management, acquisitions and disposals.
- Manage litigation matters and coordinate improvements to systems and procedures following successful claims.
- Provide company secretarial services to SGS and its UK affiliates.
- Support employment law matters when required.
Requirements
- Law degree or professional legal qualification.
- Experience in commercial law in-house or in private practice.
- Working knowledge of commercial law and experience negotiating contracts.
- Experience or understanding of litigation, commercial property, intellectual property rights and data protection.
- Full driving licence valid for use in the UK.
- Ability to work onsite in Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00.
