Manufacturing Engineer I

What you will do

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing troubleshooting and resolve process issues across assigned product lines.
• Analyze test results and draw conclusions that lead to effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including processes, drawings, and shop floor paperwork.
• Work with Process Development Engineers to incorporate design-for-manufacturing principles into product development activities.
• Identify and implement data-driven projects that reduce costs, improve processes, increase product reliability, and enhance process capability.
• Design and evaluate fixtures, equipment, test methods, specifications, layouts, and standards for Lean manufacturing.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in manufacturing engineering support and process troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze test results and develop technical resolutions for process problems.
• Ability to create and maintain manufacturing and shop floor documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
• Ability to comply with FDA and international regulatory laws, standards, and the MITG Code of Conduct.
