Laboratory Technician I - QC (Environmental Monitoring & Microbiology)

Location: Luterbach, Switzerland; full-time work at the client site

What you will do

• Perform routine environmental monitoring in classified manufacturing areas, including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
• Conduct microbiological testing such as bioburden, endotoxin, BacT, and plate reading activities.
• Review test results, identify atypical findings, and support investigations.
• Complete GMP documentation and laboratory records accurately and on time.
• Support equipment readiness, calibration activities, consumables management, and routine laboratory operations.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements

• EFZ apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician in Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology, or a relevant BSc degree.
• Ideally, two years of professional experience in a GMP environment.
• Familiarity with sample collection in controlled environments and laboratory material management.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
