IT Manager (Technical Product Owner) SAP Finance

Location: Beerse, Antwerp, Belgium; additional job posting locations: Brussels, Belgium, and Leiden, Netherlands. Hybrid role.

Base pay: €79,800.00–€137,770.00 annually.

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Central Finance products supporting Account-to-Report processes.
• Translate finance business requirements into solutions spanning process, technology, data, governance, user experience, and measurable value realization.
• Lead the design and delivery of SAP Finance projects, enhancements, support activities, integrations, user acceptance testing, and RICEF development.
• Partner with finance architecture, process owners, senior leaders, and technology teams to define roadmaps, optimize system performance, and maintain clean-core standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, plan delivery capacity, and oversee external technology professionals across projects and deployments.
• Lead a global team of finance technology professionals and build high-performing internal and external teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience managing technical and/or finance teams, with demonstrated people-management and leadership capability.
• 5+ years of functional experience with SAP ECC6 FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA Finance, and/or SAP Central Finance.
• Strong expertise in S/4HANA Finance Account-to-Report, including general ledger, cost center, profit center, reporting, asset management, internal order, and WBS accounting.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, close optimization, continuous accounting, data strategy, governance, and process definition.
• BA/BS degree required; a master’s degree in a relevant field or an MBA is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, executive presence, workshop facilitation, agile delivery, and human-centered design skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Central Finance, supply chain, I2C, P2P, treasury, master data management, ABAP, cloud infrastructure, or strategic supply chain management.
• Experience structuring and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
