Director, Adhesion Investment Platform Management

Location: Hybrid work schedule near the Charlotte, NC office; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Base salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus variable incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Build scalable operating frameworks for the Adhesion model marketplace, including product and asset manager onboarding, lifecycle management, and governance.
• Lead end-to-end onboarding strategies for asset managers, investment solutions, and new programs.
• Develop business cases using analytics, competitive research, market sizing, and financial modeling.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute high-impact platform initiatives.
• Represent investment products and programs to sales teams, advisors, internal stakeholders, and third-party managers.
• Lead and develop a small team of product managers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in financial services.
• Product development experience in asset management or investment platforms, including commercial outcomes through new products and partnerships.
• Experience in the RIA business and deep knowledge of asset and wealth management industry trends.
• Strong knowledge of public equity, fixed income, derivatives, private markets, and real assets.
• Understanding of broker-dealer and RIA distribution channels and relationships between platforms, asset managers, distributors, and financial advisors.
• Strong analytical, conceptual problem-solving, communication, people leadership, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; bachelor’s degree required.
