Senior Underwriter (Property & Casualty)

What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal business for the Commercial Property product.
• Develop creative risk transfer solutions for mid-to-large corporate property clients and multi-line mid-market risks.
• Support the development and profitable growth of hirify.global’s regional middle-market property portfolio in the North.
• Build visibility and relationships with regional brokers and clients.
• Collaborate cross-functionally while working within underwriting authorities, guidelines, and service standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, process efficiency, and underwriting quality.

Requirements

• Commercial property underwriting experience and technical insurance knowledge.
• Experience working with regional brokers and willingness to expand a broker network.
• Ability to understand policy wordings.
• Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
• Interest in developing technical capability in reinsurance and multinational insurance programmes.
• Willingness to work primarily from the Glasgow office.
