Senior Underwriter (Property & Casualty)

What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal business to support profitable growth of the Commercial Property product.
• Develop creative risk transfer solutions for mid-to-large corporate property clients and multi-line mid-market risks brokered in the UK Regions.
• Support development of the middle-market portfolio and build visibility with brokers and clients.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across hirify.global to achieve corporate objectives.
• Work within agreed decision-making standards, authorities, limitations, and underwriting guidelines.
• Maintain underwriting quality and corporate service standards while supporting continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Commercial property underwriting experience combined with technical insurance knowledge.
• Desire to develop property underwriting technical capability, including reinsurance and multinational insurance programmes.
• Experience working with regional brokers and desire to proactively expand the broker network.
• Ability to understand policy wordings.
• Experience and comfort working in a multi-stakeholder, collaborative environment.
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment and contribute to the development of hirify.global’s Regional property portfolio in the North.
