Mechanical Application Engineer (HVAC)

Location: St. George, Utah, United States; this is not a remote role.

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 annual base salary, negotiable based on experience, plus a monthly productivity and profit bonus.

What you will do

• Design sustainable mechanical ventilation and control strategies for a wide range of commercial applications.
• Review project designs and provide real-time technical guidance to sales engineers.
• Conduct final reviews of critical projects for accuracy, quality, and alignment with design standards.
• Research unique and emerging applications and resolve complex equipment and application questions.
• Develop webinars, support pages, design tools, and other training resources for the internal sales engineering team.
• Review and analyze remote monitoring data to identify trends and useful insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• 0–5 years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and ventilation systems preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and derive trends using Excel or similar software.
• Strong communication skills for discussing complex mechanical equipment and controls with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
