Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Seals)

Location: Shannon, County Clare, Ireland; work takes place at the Shannon service center and customer sites, with travel required.

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect, and repair mechanical seals returned from customer sites.
• Support customers with field training, technical troubleshooting, seal installation and removal, and commissioning.
• Manage the open orderbook and coordinate spare-parts ordering to meet contractual delivery expectations.
• Document failure analyses and field-service activities, prepare client reports, and use specialized service software.
• Maintain, calibrate, and test tools and diagnostic equipment critical to service operations.
• Communicate technical issues and customer requirements to customers, suppliers, management, and Sales and Service teams while maintaining QHSE compliance.

Requirements

• Extensive technical experience with mechanical seals or rotating equipment such as centrifugal pumps and mixers.
• Experience supporting industries such as pharmaceuticals, refining, petrochemicals, or power generation.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Knowledge of safety compliance and environmental regulations.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and customer-service skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
