Wastewater Project Engineer / Client Development

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. Candidates must reside in the Fort Wayne area; relocation may be considered. hirify.global is currently unable to hire employees residing in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Puerto Rico.

Base compensation: $110,000–$125,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and deliver wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Develop innovative solutions for municipal, state, federal, and industrial wastewater infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technical professionals across disciplines.
• Partner with project managers to support successful project outcomes.
• Build and strengthen client relationships through project delivery and client development.
• Support the design and construction of wastewater treatment projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing and constructing wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience designing or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects.
• Familiarity with regional wastewater issues and municipal government clients.
• Experience with multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
