Electrician (Airport Services)

Location: George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston, Texas, United States; onsite airport work on day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

What you will do

• Perform electrical work for building and facility maintenance.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
• Use measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments to identify and resolve issues.
• Calculate wiring and electrical equipment load requirements.
• Record maintenance information in CMMS systems.
• Follow safety programs and work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Requirements

• Texas State Electrician License required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Basic computer skills; a valid driver's license is preferred.
• Ability to obtain an airport badge and work in secure areas.
