Strategy & Operations Analyst (Finance)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States

Base annual salary: $75,000–$100,000 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Support growth, process improvement, and customer experience initiatives through research, analysis, materials preparation, and execution.
• Gather data, build financial models, and prepare strategic insights to evaluate and prioritize business opportunities.
• Maintain project roadmaps, task tracking, status updates, and documentation for operational improvement efforts.
• Collaborate across departments and business units to develop and implement solutions.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting tools for key metrics and KPIs.
• Monitor business operations and identify potential areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 1–2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or a high-growth startup.
• Strong understanding of financial and business fundamentals.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
• Proactive approach, adaptability, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
