FMS Project Manager (Government Programs): Leading planning, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and acquisition initiatives for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract with an accent on Foreign Military Sales, government documentation, and program execution. Focus on defining technical approaches, negotiating resources, controlling milestones and budgets, and resolving third-party actions with government and industry stakeholders.
Location: Arlington, VA; 100% on-site, in-office; not eligible for hybrid or remote work

What you will do
- Support the development and implementation of US third-party and Foreign Military Sales initiatives.
- Draft and review required government documentation.
- Prepare for and participate in FMS-related meetings and Program Management Reviews with FMS customers.
- Coordinate with government and industry stakeholders to execute US government FMS objectives and resolve PEO IWS 11 actions and issues.
- Lead planning, direction, and execution for program office projects, systems development efforts, and acquisition initiatives.
- Define technical approaches, negotiate required resources, and control milestones, schedules, budgets, and status reporting.
Requirements
- Eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Junior level: 3–6 years of project management experience.
- Mid level: 7–10 years of project management experience in a government program office.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors across technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, presentation, and customer collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical discipline, or a related field.
- Project management or project lead experience with NAVSEA or PEO IWS program offices.
- Active Secret clearance.
- PMP certification or completed PMP preparation coursework.
