Compensation: $89,800–$170,500 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Coordinate audits of financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
  • Assess engagement risks and design, communicate, and execute audit procedures.
  • Manage multiple engagement teams, monitor work quality and productivity, and prepare end-of-engagement evaluations.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Audit Seniors, Supervisors, and associates.
  • Identify technical accounting matters, assess their impact on financial statements, and coordinate with specialists.
  • Maintain client relationships, address concerns, support business growth, and manage project profitability.

Requirements

  • Chicago-based role with willingness to travel as needed for client assignments.
  • BS or BA degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree.
  • CPA or CA certification.
  • 5+ years of current or recent experience in public accounting.
  • At least 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff across multiple engagements.
  • Knowledge of auditing services, GAAP, GAAS, and FASB regulations, with experience leading teams and mentoring associates.

Nice to have

  • Experience auditing healthcare and related organizations.
  • Experience directing and deploying staff and senior associates across multiple simultaneous engagements.
