Mechanical Engineer

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; four days in the office with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

Salary: $70,000–$108,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design mechanical systems from schematics through construction administration across a range of building types.
• Develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs from concept through construction completion.
• Prepare engineering calculations, mechanical system layouts, reports, narratives, and project documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical design requirements with architecture, structural engineering, and other disciplines.
• Assist with project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience in an MEP firm working on commercial or public projects.
• Experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection building systems on complex projects.
• Ability to work in the Orlando office four days per week, with remote flexibility on Fridays.

Nice to have

• Licensed Professional Engineer qualification.
• LEED Accredited Professional credentials or experience with LEED and other green rating systems.
• Experience with sustainable building design and energy modeling in Trace 700 and IESVE.
• Experience with BIM workflows, including Autodesk Revit MEP.
