1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States — onsite at IAH Airport. Day or night shifts may include weekends and holidays.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair boilers, chillers, HVAC, refrigeration, ice plant, and other critical facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete work orders and delegated tasks through the CMMS.
• Maintain accurate equipment operation, maintenance, and repair logs.
• Communicate with customers, coworkers, supervisors, and management while following safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Valid City of Houston 1st or 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer License required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and demonstrate strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to obtain an airport badge and work in secure areas.
• Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays, in outdoor, loud, hazardous, elevated, and confined-space environments.

• EPA Universal License.
