QC Analyst (Pharmaceutical Testing)

Location: Site-based in Rathdrum, Wicklow, Ireland. Candidates must be immediately eligible to work in Ireland.

Salary: €43,000–€48,000 per year.

What you will do

• Test pharmaceutical raw materials and drug substances in a GMP laboratory using GC, HPLC, and other analytical techniques.
• Complete testing according to approved procedures, regulatory requirements, and client quality systems.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrations, materials inventory, housekeeping, and audit readiness.
• Enter data into LIMS, assess laboratory results, close batch analyses, and review results generated by other qualified analysts.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, methods, reports, laboratory records, and investigation documentation.
• Lead investigations and deviations when required while supporting safety, quality, productivity, and on-time testing objectives.

Requirements

• Science degree or equivalent education in Chemistry at Level 7.
• At least two years of experience in a GMP laboratory; GMP experience is required.
• Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices, data integrity, and analytical technologies including HPLC, GC, KF, IR, PSD, X-ray, and wet chemistry.
• Experience with laboratory computer systems, including LIMS and Trackwise.
• Strong organizational, written, verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team while maintaining high quality, safety, compliance, and customer service standards.
