Consulting Director (Healthcare Provider Strategy & Innovation)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the contiguous 48 United States near a major airport; weekly travel may be required depending on the project. Listed office location: New York, 1166 Ave of the Americas.

Base salary: $215,000–$250,000 per year. Total estimated compensation including annual incentives: $311,750–$362,500.

What you will do

• Lead multi-workstream engagements focused on growth strategy, business model transformation, and innovation.
• Advise CEOs, boards, and senior healthcare executives on enterprise planning, partnerships, and cultural transformation.
• Structure complex problems and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research into actionable strategies.
• Prepare and present clear, high-impact deliverables, proposals, and workshops.
• Collaborate with Managing Directors on business development and revenue growth opportunities.
• Coach and develop junior consultants while building a high-performing, inclusive team.

Requirements

• Extensive consulting experience at a top management consulting firm, with a successful track record delivering strategic healthcare solutions.
• Experience leading enterprise-level engagements for healthcare provider organizations, including growth, transformation, market entry, service line strategy, M&A or partnerships, and margin or cost optimization.
• Expert knowledge of healthcare provider organizations, including hospital systems, academic medical centers, ambulatory surgery centers, integrated delivery networks, and physician practices.
• Strong strategic, quantitative, business analysis, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects, create work plans, deliver high-quality client work, and lead junior employees across multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel weekly as needed and live in the contiguous 48 states near a major airport.
