Head of Business Development

Location: Focus on emerging markets including Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia

Overview

Lead the launch and expansion of a global banking services product targeting small and medium-sized banks in emerging markets. Drive strategy, partnerships, and market intelligence to enable efficient and secure financial operations.

What you will do

• Develop and implement global expansion strategies for banking services.
• Build and maintain partnerships with financial institutions in emerging markets.
• Lead contract negotiations and onboarding processes ensuring compliance.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions to local needs.
• Track performance metrics and report to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in global business development or sales in banking/financial services
• Proven success expanding services to banks in emerging markets
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with C-suite executives
• Knowledge of international banking regulations and compliance
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus
