Regulatory Compliance Officer (Fintech)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; hybrid with three days per week in-office (Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day of choice), with the option to request extra remote time.

What you will do

• Identify, analyze, and monitor European regulatory obligations and market practices, especially those relevant to Luxembourg and Italy.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define compliant requirements for new launches and existing features.
• Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses across products and operations.
• Support internal policies, regulatory developments, manuals, and procedures.
• Execute the Compliance Monitoring Programme and thematic reviews, documenting weaknesses and recommendations.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Compliance or Audit, ideally in fintech.
• Practical knowledge of PSD2, DORA, AML, SEPA, CCD2, and broader EU financial regulatory frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams on compliant product requirements.
• Hands-on experience with compliance quality assurance and monitoring activities.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder communication, prioritization, and task-management skills.

• Experience with GDPR and MiFID II.
