TL;DR
Client Compliance Officer (Reinsurance Compliance): Leading compliance oversight and advisory activities for P&C and L&H reinsurance businesses across EMEA, with a specific focus on the United Kingdom, with an accent on financial sanctions, financial crime, data protection, and regulatory monitoring. Focus on assessing regulatory developments, delivering compliance risk assessments and training, supporting governance and reporting, and contributing to global compliance transformation initiatives.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work model
Salary: €2,900–€4,900 gross monthly for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based bonus.

What you will do
- Lead and continuously enhance the compliance framework in line with internal and external requirements.
- Provide advisory support on financial sanctions, financial crime, data protection, conduct risk, and other compliance matters across EMEA reinsurance.
- Monitor and assess regulatory developments in EMEA and the UK, including Fitness & Propriety, Conduct Rules, and senior management regime requirements.
- Manage regulatory relationships, consultations, filings, and supervisory interactions.
- Provide management assurance through oversight of business activities, compliance risk assessments, reporting, and governance support.
- Deliver compliance training and collaborate with global teams on EMEA and global compliance strategy and transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk.
- Experience in regulatory monitoring; financial sanctions experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of reinsurance and insurance regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering, international trade controls, conduct, and data protection risks.
- Fluent English required. A university degree or equivalent qualification is also required.
- Strong ownership, prioritization, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in a dynamic matrix environment.
