TL;DR
Legal Counsel (Corporate and Regulatory Law): Advising Luxembourg-based Swiss Re entities and their global branches and subsidiaries on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and restructuring projects with an accent on Luxembourg corporate law and CSSF/CAA-regulated companies. Focus on monitoring regulatory developments, advising senior stakeholders, strengthening legal frameworks, and managing external counsel relationships.
Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Hybrid work model with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week. A valid work permit for Luxembourg is required.

What you will do
- Oversee corporate legal and regulatory matters for Luxembourg-based companies and their global branches and subsidiaries.
- Provide practical, commercially sound legal and regulatory advice to stakeholders across the business.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise management on their implications.
- Attend legal entity meetings and prepare presentations and legal reports for senior management.
- Support corporate restructuring projects and develop templates, policies, and processes.
- Manage relationships with outside counsel and ensure effective external legal support.
Requirements
- Luxembourg-qualified lawyer with at least three years of practical experience in a law firm or international organisation.
- Expertise in Luxembourg corporate law and regulations applicable to CSSF- and/or CAA-supervised companies.
- Fluency in English and French, written and spoken, is required.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A valid Luxembourg work permit is required.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in additional European languages such as German, Italian, or Spanish.
- Experience in an international or multinational corporate environment, ideally in the reinsurance or insurance sector.
