Senior AI Engineer (Generative AI/AWS): Building and deploying enterprise-scale AI and machine learning solutions, including LLM-powered applications, RAG architectures, AI agents, and knowledge assistants with an accent on production readiness, cloud-native development, and responsible AI. Focus on designing scalable AI architectures, implementing MLOps and LLMOps pipelines, and integrating secure APIs and services across the enterprise.
Location: Carlow, Ireland; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI and machine learning solutions, including generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
- Build RAG architectures, AI agents, vector search solutions, and enterprise knowledge assistants.
- Develop and optimize cloud-native AI applications on AWS using Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and S3.
- Establish MLOps and LLMOps practices covering deployment, monitoring, versioning, and model lifecycle management.
- Design APIs, integrations, and services that enable AI capabilities across the business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams while mentoring colleagues and promoting engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, AI engineering, or a related technical field.
- Production experience delivering AI and machine learning solutions in cloud environments.
- Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, LangChain, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector search, MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, and model lifecycle management.
- Experience with AWS, APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
