What you will do

• Develop and deploy AI-powered user experiences using LLMs, foundation models, AI APIs, agentic development, RAG, and knowledge graphs.
• Build backend services and AI pipelines that support training, deployment, lifecycle management, and scalable production operation.
• Design reusable application layers around AI models with robust error handling, predictable behavior, and seamless product integration.
• Prototype, benchmark, and evaluate model outputs against product requirements and automated quality metrics.
• Optimize application performance, including API latency, token management, and user interaction flows.
• Collaborate with product management, design, software engineering, and ML infrastructure teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering and product-building experience, including production systems at scale.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience integrating LLMs, foundation models, or modern AI APIs into enterprise products.
• 2+ years of experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, RAG, and knowledge graphs.
• 4+ years of experience optimizing application performance and using cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Professional experience building backend services and REST APIs in Python, such as FastAPI or Django.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Sentry, or Datadog for production observability.
• Experience with feature-flag and experimentation platforms such as LaunchDarkly.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, Kafka, or SQS.
• Experience with automated testing, security scanning, dependency management, and tools such as SonarQube.
