TL;DR
Senior AI Engineer (Generative AI/LLMOps): Building and deploying AI solutions, RAG prototypes, and agentic architectures for client and internal projects with an accent on model integration, cloud-native engineering, and distributed systems. Focus on developing AI agents, evaluating and observing LLM workflows, and integrating models with APIs, data sources, and production systems.
Location: Queen Street, Belfast, United Kingdom; hybrid work with attendance at the office or client site at least two days per week, potentially up to five days per week on a client site.

What you will do
- Build and prototype generative AI solutions using LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, and OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.
- Develop retrieval-augmented generation prototypes using vector stores and knowledge graphs.
- Design and test agentic architectures through the Genie Platform.
- Explore LLMOps, model evaluation, and observability tools such as TruLens and LangSmith.
- Deploy AI solutions in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud and DevOps environments.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams using agile engineering practices.
Requirements
- Software engineering experience with a passion for AI, or data science experience combined with strong engineering skills.
- Strong foundation in a programming language suitable for AI system development and data workflows.
- Experience integrating models with APIs, data sources, or production systems.
- Knowledge of LLMs, RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, prompt and context engineering, and model evaluation.
- Understanding of cloud-native platforms, DevOps or DevSecOps, distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and LLMOps.
- Applicants for relevant UK roles must meet security clearance requirements, including British citizenship or five years of continuous UK residency where applicable.

Hiring process
