Senior Consultant - Business Unit Control (Banking)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; applicants must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of employment. Employment permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Conduct risk-based reviews of operational processes, procedures, controls, and client-specific servicing deliverables.
• Review and test practice-area controls, identify weaknesses, and prepare recommendations for remediation.
• Support control governance, metrics, reporting, strategic change initiatives, and control-related projects.
• Analyze incidents and operational losses to identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Participate in the RCSA program and provide evidence of control review and challenge.
• Lead issue-remediation and operational-loss program activities with business units and control stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in banking or another regulated organization, especially in risk management, controls, governance, audit, compliance, or testing.
• Experience with project or program management and a delivery-focused approach.
• Strong critical thinking, organization, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and communicate complex topics clearly.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, and SharePoint.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
