Data Research Analyst - Asian Languages Speaker (Financial Data)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with four days in the office each week in most locations

Base salary: €29,000–€39,000 annually; target bonus: 5% annually

What you will do

• Collaborate with global data teams and local business representatives across international markets.
• Collect, maintain, and validate investment data, including data points, methodologies, calculations, and fund structures.
• Manage relationships with fund companies, connect with data providers, establish acquisition channels, and escalate issues when needed.
• Track production deadlines and own data-ticket follow-up, investigation, expedition, and resolution.
• Evaluate procedures, improve analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects using methodologies such as LEAN Six Sigma.
• Translate internal client requests into detailed specifications and user stories, and document client use cases.

Requirements

• Fluent English and at least two additional languages; Thai, Japanese, and Korean speakers are sought for this role.
• Understanding of the financial industry, investment data, data quality, methodologies, and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, ownership, and ability to manage high data volumes while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work on complex cross-functional projects.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse teams, providers, internal partners, and clients.
