Director of Business Development (Construction)

An integrated building firm delivering design and construction services across a broad range of project types, headquartered in Dallas with offices across the United States and in Mexico City.

What you will do

• Achieve sales goals for a defined market or region and make firm commitments under senior direction.
• Track business development opportunities and trusted advisors in the CRM.
• Research potential clients and projects, schedule discovery meetings, and maintain a strong business network.
• Develop pursuit plans for go/no-go approval and contribute to pursuit strategy sessions.
• Support proposals, scopes of work, fee estimates, pre-bids, client interviews, and internal and external debriefs.
• Support regional and national marketing objectives, client events, professional organizations, and 11-month walkthroughs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Ability to coordinate client meetings and communicate consistently with project teams and related parties.
• Ability to work in an office environment, move outdoors when required, carry plans or boxes over 10 lbs, and maintain consistent attendance.
• Travel or co-location may be required.
