Data Research Analyst (Financial Data)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with four days in-office each week

Base salary: €29,000–€39,000 per year; annual bonus target: 5%

What you will do

• Collaborate with global data teams and local business representatives to deliver accurate and timely financial data.
• Manage investment data points, methodologies, calculations, fund structures, and data quality processes.
• Build relationships with fund companies, connect with data providers, establish acquisition channels, and escalate issues when needed.
• Collect and maintain data while meeting production deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy, completeness, and coverage.
• Evaluate procedures, enhance analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Translate internal client requests into detailed specifications and user stories, while improving and documenting client use cases.

Requirements

• Fluent English and German and/or Dutch, plus at least one additional language for collaboration across international markets.
• Understanding of financial industry data, investment data, data quality, methodologies, and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, ownership, and ability to manage high data volumes and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to handle complex cross-functional projects.
• Ability to build relationships with providers, internal partners, and clients and resolve data issues responsively.

• Previous project management experience.
