Pharmacy Technician I

Location: Twin Falls, Idaho, United States. Full-time onsite schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; no weekends, holidays, or evenings.

Salary: $17.36-$22.55 per hour

What you will do

• Support daily pharmacy and warehouse operations under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Receive, enter, pick, count, label, pack, and track prescription medications and inventory.
• Proofread, generate, and apply drug labels under pharmacist supervision.
• Interact with veterinarians and pharmacists, meet assigned performance metrics, and report discrepancies, damages, and errors.
• Handle prescription drugs, pesticides, and hazardous materials according to company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Maintain a secure, clean, organized, and safe pharmacy and warehouse while following safety and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good computer, communication, organization, and administrative skills.
• Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving ability.
• Ability to pass the state Board of Pharmacy exam required for pharmacy technician certification.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• National pharmacy technician certification, such as CPhT through PTCB or NHA.
• College degree or vocational school certification.
• At least one year of pharmacy experience.
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing processes.
