Pharmacy Technician (Specialty Pharmacy)

Location: On-site in Kinston, North Carolina, United States, at 324 N. Queen St. Suite A. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm; Friday, 8:30 am–3:00 pm.

Base compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Help the pharmacist prepare and dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Provide personalized customer service to patients in person and by phone.
• Support patients with calm, clear guidance while helping them navigate specialty pharmacy services.
• Build knowledge of specialty diseases, including autoimmune conditions, oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
• Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data accurately into pharmacy systems.
• Support continuous improvement and collaboration within the pharmacy team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active, non-expired license or registration with the North Carolina State Board of Pharmacy.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy technician duties.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain moderately active throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and distinguish colors and shapes.

Nice to have

• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician credential through PTCB or NHA.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills.
