Sr. Trading Platform Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: United States; the environment ranges from fully remote to hybrid.

Base salary: $140,000–$165,000 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate releases from code completion through production, aligning engineering, QA, and product handoffs.
• Consolidate readiness signals, risks, defects, and dependencies into go/no-go views for release stakeholders.
• Design and operate cross-functional programs across release, testing, onboarding, and support workflows.
• Track platform operational KPIs, maintain metric definitions, and run recurring operational reporting, including CME reports.
• Manage the automation backlog, implement quick wins, and specify larger automation projects for engineering.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and self-service workflows that improve onboarding and reduce operational dependencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical operations, release management, program management, or platform operations.
• Experience owning operational systems or processes end to end.
• Experience managing workflows, releases, and versioning in Jira or similar tools.
• Ability to coordinate releases across engineering, QA, and product while managing cross-team dependencies.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills for managing competing priorities across multiple release trains.
• Experience replacing manual operational work with scripting, APIs, AI tools, workflow automation platforms, or similar technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in trading, fintech, brokerage, or another regulated environment.
• Exposure to exchange operations or reporting, especially CME.
• Experience driving change in startup environments.
