Production Planning Specialist II

Location: Clinton, South Carolina, USA; onsite full-time

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions manufactures equipment for applying and curing coatings, paints, adhesives, sealants, and food and beverage container products.

What you will do

• Analyze MRP reports and create or release production orders and purchase requisitions to meet production plans and customer delivery dates.
• Schedule and reschedule production orders to address changes and optimize customer service, inventory efficiency, and asset utilization.
• Coordinate new product materials and production schedules with engineering and production teams.
• Use SAP to maintain inventory accuracy, modify safety stock, and analyze product lead times and lot sizes.
• Level-load work centers, communicate capacity issues, and escalate material shortages to Supply Chain.
• Perform consumption, forecast, and KPI analysis for the assigned production area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant work experience, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• SAP experience required.
• Manufacturing work experience required.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
