Managed Cloud & Infrastructure Advisory Manager (Generative AI)

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid onsite work with a minimum expectation of two days per week in the office

Salary: $95,400–$192,000 annually, plus discretionary performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Assess client IT environments, including infrastructure, cloud readiness, end user support, global IT strategy, cybersecurity posture, and opportunities for AI deployment.
• Develop actionable recommendations that improve operational excellence and align technology with business objectives.
• Provide fractional IT leadership during staff transitions, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational transformation assignments lasting from 30 days to 6 months.
• Collaborate with advisory teams, managed services specialists, and client stakeholders to develop and execute IT strategies using the OKR framework.
• Lead executive briefings on generative AI trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support Copilot implementations, AI risk assessments, and custom AI application development with other hirify.global teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in internal IT or IT consulting, including advisory services for global middle market clients.
• Experience with IT strategy, infrastructure, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and IT Service Management.
• Demonstrated expertise implementing generative AI solutions, enterprise adoption, and change management.
• Experience in IT leadership roles during periods of transition or organizational growth.
• Familiarity with OKR methodology and strategy execution.
