Technology Audit & Advisory Experienced Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid work with regular in-person work in local hirify.global offices and on client sites. Local or out-of-state travel may be required depending on projects and client commitments.

Salary: $70,000–$105,000 base annual salary, plus a $2,000 bonus target; estimated total cash range of $72,000–$107,000.

What you will do

• Conduct interviews, gather and analyze data, and document audit findings and recommendations.
• Assess technology risks, controls, and processes across client organizations.
• Prepare process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
• Support engagements involving cybersecurity, cloud assurance, technology risk management, IT general controls, data privacy, enterprise applications, resilience, and emerging technologies.
• Apply analytics, AI, automation, and other technology enablement tools to improve audit analysis.
• Build relationships with client and project team personnel while taking ownership of assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Understanding of IT audit methodologies and internal control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, and ITIL.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and their technology implications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio and Access are secondary areas of focus.
• Employment is limited to the United States; hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or RPA solutions.
• Certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or a similar credential.
• Exposure to data governance, analytics, AI/ML, privacy, enterprise applications, disaster recovery, or systems development methodologies.
