Chicago Technology Audit & Advisory Senior Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. Hybrid work is required, combining in-person work in hirify.global offices and on client sites with remote work; travel may include local and out-of-state assignments. Positions are not available in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $118,000–$189,000 annually, plus a 14% bonus target. Estimated total cash: $134,520–$215,460.

What you will do

• Manage technology audit and advisory engagements addressing cybersecurity, cloud assurance, technology risk, IT general controls, data privacy, enterprise applications, resilience, and emerging technologies.
• Develop strategies and solutions using analytics, AI, automation, and other technology enablement tools.
• Lead teams in planning, executing, reviewing, and completing audit work plans and deliverables.
• Build client relationships, communicate technology risks and audit issues to executives, and support proposals and business development.
• Mentor team members, conduct performance development, coordinate across teams, and foster open communication.
• Support clients with internal audit and SOX activities, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and technology risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in technology audit, consulting, assurance, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Experience leading IT audit methodologies and producing process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
• Knowledge of COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and technology controls.
• Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals, and work review.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, RPA solutions, and other analytics tools is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or a similar professional certification.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, disaster recovery, or systems development methodologies.
