QA Analyst (CTG)

Location: Bethesda, Maryland. Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States; all work must be performed within the United States. Must be local or willing to move to the local area at personal expense. Public Trust clearance must be obtainable and maintainable.

What you will do

• Develop and execute test strategies and plans for complex, data-driven web and enterprise applications.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, risks, ambiguities, and edge cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, cross-device, and API testing.
• Compare legacy and modern system behavior to verify functional parity and backward compatibility.
• Document defects, verify resolutions, and support release readiness and production issue troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Product, Business Analysis, Engineering, UX, and client stakeholders throughout Agile ceremonies and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with web-based or enterprise applications.
• Experience testing complex, data-driven systems and validating requirements early in the development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• United States residence and work authorization, ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance, and local presence or relocation to the Bethesda area are required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting federal government or large enterprise systems.
• Experience with legacy parity, backward compatibility, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar test automation tools.
