Infusion RN Senior (Oncology)

Location: Decatur, Texas, and Denton, Texas; travel between locations is required based on department needs.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of oncology patient care.
• Assess patient and family needs and provide education and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer oncology therapies under physician direction.
• Administer medications and blood products using correct dosage, route, timing, and technique.
• Assess patients and laboratory results, coordinate dose modifications, and support symptom management with physicians.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, maintain central-line devices, document care, and support charge capture.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and ongoing continuing education.
• At least five years of nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology preferred.
• Oncology experience and certification are preferred.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with travel between Decatur and Denton as needed.
