Infusion R.N. 30 Hour Position (Infusion Nursing): Providing and coordinating evidence-based patient and family-centered nursing care in an infusion setting with an accent on assessment, treatment delivery, medication administration, and care planning. Focus on evaluating patient responses, managing complex clinical situations, supporting patient safety and quality improvement, and collaborating across disciplines.
Location: Tufts Medical Center; onsite clinical role with regular patient-facing and physical care duties.
Pay range: $43.01–$70.95 per hour.

What you will do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across the lifespan.
- Provide professional nursing care, treatments, procedures, medication administration, and patient education.
- Coordinate care plans, interdisciplinary communication, patient and family meetings, and discharge planning.
- Monitor patient responses and update care plans using evidence-based nursing practice.
- Support patient safety, quality improvement, regulatory, and patient-family satisfaction initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other disciplines; delegate responsibilities and may perform charge nurse functions.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Relevant certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required depending on the department and type of care.
- Knowledge of nursing practice, pharmacology, healthcare technology, patient safety, and evidence-based care.
- Ability to work in physically demanding and unpredictable clinical conditions, including prolonged standing and walking, patient transfers, emergency situations, and exposure to hazardous materials and infectious risks.
- Maintain current licensure and comply with the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act.
