Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Memory Care)

Location: Tampa, Florida, USA; onsite, full-time, 7PM–7AM

What you will do

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• Complete resident admissions, assessments, discharges, care plans, service plans, and clinical documentation.
• Track clinical matters such as wounds and infection control under direction from the director.
• Monitor residents’ health, notify physicians and family members of changes, and document communications.
• Respond to emergencies, provide health-related guidance, and deliver educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Communicate closely with departments and staff while maintaining resident confidentiality and following safety and disaster procedures.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program in general nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Acceptable English proficiency for job duties, workplace communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work safely under pressure as part of a team.
