Engineer Technician (HVAC)

Location: Youngsville, North Carolina, United States; onsite at the Youngsville Plant

Salary: Starting at $25/hour, plus a monthly productivity and profit-based bonus

hirify.global manufactures commercial kitchen ventilation systems, fans, heaters, ductwork, and HVAC equipment through a network of sales offices and manufacturing plants in the United States and Canada.

What you will do

• Work hands-on on the DOAS line and other product lines to support manufacturing.
• Operate technical equipment and help accelerate and organize production lines.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, inspect products, and complete quality and administrative documentation.
• Perform refrigerant charging and recovery.
• Read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and factory orders.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe, functional workspace.

Requirements

• Two-year or four-year technical degree in a mechanical- or electrical-oriented curriculum.
• Entry-level profile with up to two years of work experience.
• Ability to use power tools and electrical testing and measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and stand for 8–10 hours at a time.
• Ability to use ladders, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools to acquire parts and complete work.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice to have

• Internship or hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• HVAC-related experience.
• Welding and soldering skills.
