Director of Global Supplier Quality (Manufacturing)

Location: Based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States; collaboration with hirify.global facilities worldwide.

Salary: $159,435–$211,180 annually, plus eligibility for the Quarterly Incentive Pay Program.

What you will do

• Lead global supplier quality teams and develop the roadmap for the long-term supplier quality vision.
• Develop quality strategies for New Product Introduction and transition development programs into full-rate production.
• Manage supplier risk, qualification, and PPAP implementation and oversight.
• Drive supplier issue resolution using quality best practices and root cause analysis.
• Standardize lean and quality tools, share best practices, and improve operational excellence.
• Manage supplier quality budgets, organizational design, performance reporting, and cross-functional business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering.
• 15+ years of total experience, including 6+ years of management experience in supplier quality, quality, and manufacturing.
• Demonstrated strategic leadership and accountability.
• Experience working cross-functionally with all organizational levels.
• Experience developing operational yield and process control tracking.
• Hands-on, collaborative leadership focused on team development and performance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma, Red X, or another problem-solving certification.
• Experience developing and executing global quality initiatives.
