What you will do

• Manage daily billing activities, including patient invoicing and claim-related follow-up.
• Post write-offs and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
• Respond to billing inquiries from patients, clients, and insurance companies.
• Manage outstanding patient balances, generate statements, and set up payment plans.
• Collaborate with coding, collections, and accounts receivable teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Support new billing processes, systems, and software upgrades.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in medical or corporate billing, revenue cycle, or accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with insurance billing guidelines, CPT/ICD-10 codes, and EHR or practice management systems such as Epic, Athena, or Cerner.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory billing requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
